children of the grave...

well this doesn't really have anything to do with photography, but it is pretty relevant to what is going on in the world today...it's a messed up place right now and pretty depressing, too..i've ben listening to this song more and more recently and i can't stop..it came out in '71, and the fact that it is completely relevant right now, and probably will be forever, is crazy..check out the words and the video and try to treat eachother kindly..i'm trying to do that..it doesn't always work but i think i'm gonna try my best from now on...we'll see.........

.children of the grave-black sabbath.
Revolution in their minds - the children start to march
against the world in which they have to live
and all the hate that's in their hearts.
They're tired of being pushed around
and told just what to do.
They'll fight the world until they've won
and love comes flowing through.

Children of tomorrow live in the tears that fall today.
Will the sun rise up tomorrow bringing peace in any way?
Must the world live in the shadow of atomic fear?
Can they win the fight for peace or will they disappear?

So you children of the world,
listen to what I say..
If you want a better place to live in
spread the words today.
Show the world that love is still alive
you must be brave!
Or you children of today are
Children of the grave

new project...

hello out there to anyone who looks at this old blog of mine..
so...i have a new project i would like to share with all of you..i kind of noticed that there were a ton of blogs out there dedicated to fine art photography/photographers, but not so many that were showcasing documentary work..with that thought in mind i decided to start "the personal document"..it is a new bi-monthly documentary photo showcase open to any photographer that has a documentary project that they want to get out there..
so go take a look at it and tell me what you think..the first post is a good one!!
